Techfront Australia appoints KPMG to work through
The impact of COVID-19 is being felt around the world and the suspension of many sporting events has negatively impacted the revenues of Techfront Australia. The company directors have as a result made the decision on 7 April 2020 to appoint Ryan Eagle and Gayle Dickerson of KPMGas voluntary administrators. The directors will work with the voluntary administrators to devise a business plan to work through the COVID-19 crisis and to position the business for ongoing operations post the crisis.
The company will continue to operate on a business as usual basis, with the support of its employees and key stakeholders.
Neil Maxwell, Chief Executive Officer, added: “Our business has consistently been a strong financial performer over the years. However, the current challenging economic climate brought about by COVID-19, has meant that we had to make the tough but logical decision to put the company into Voluntary Administration in order to reposition the company in the market. Our major creditors and shareholders have committed their support to the business. I remain optimistic that with their support Techfront Australia will come out of the Administration process in a stronger position in the shortest possible time, and will continue to provide top quality service and products to its clients and the community.”
